Health fund rebates
How HICAPS actually works.
- 01 You pay the full session price at the desk, the same as any other payment.
- 02 Dean taps your private health fund card on the HICAPS terminal at reception.
- 03 The claim is sent to your fund electronically before you leave the building.
- 04 Your fund refunds whatever your policy allows, direct to the same card, usually within a few business days.
What we cannot tell you
The rebate amount. That is set entirely by your fund and your level of extras cover, and it can change between funds and even between policies at the same fund.
What to check with your fund first
- Whether remedial massage is included in your extras cover
- Your annual benefit limit and how much of it is left
- Whether a referral is required (most policies do not need one)
Take-home
The house-blend oil, in a bottle to take home.
Ask at the desk. The same plain, unscented oil we use on the table, sold at cost rather than marked up.
