A much lighter technique than remedial or deep tissue work, using slow rhythmic strokes in the direction of lymph flow rather than deep pressure. We see it most after minor surgery once a client's surgeon has cleared massage, after a sprain once the acute swelling has settled, and for general fluid retention through pregnancy or long-haul travel. It is not a weight-loss or detox treatment and we do not sell it as one.

How soon after surgery can I book?
Only once your surgeon has cleared massage over or near the surgical site, usually written on your discharge paperwork or confirmed at a follow-up appointment. Bring that clearance to your first session.
How many sessions will I actually need?
It depends on the cause. We review after two or three sessions and will tell you plainly if further sessions are not making a measurable difference.
